Recent project: an Ealing Broadway terrace
A tall Victorian terrace behind Ealing Broadway, home to a young family and a dog with strong opinions about strangers, needed its hall, stairs and three bedrooms brought back. The hallway wore three failed attempts at anaglypta; the stair carpet had been painted around for years. We stripped the paper, lined the walls, deglossed the joinery and rebuilt the finish in a calm stone-white with a deep green feature wall in the front bedroom, working room by room around the family's week. Eleven days, the dog won over by day three, and the handover held on the promised Friday with every snag closed on the spot. The agents who let the flat next door have since asked for our details, which is how a region page like this one earns its keep.
